The reasoning section tests logical thinking of the examinee. The Logical Reasoning test generally contains three sections of General Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning.

The General Reasoning part includes sections like Coding, Directions, Blood Relations, Puzzles etc.;

Analytical Reasoning (or Critical Reasoning) presents an argument that the test taker is asked to analyze. Questions ask examinee to draw a conclusion, to identify assumptions, or to recognize strengths or weaknesses in the argument. It presents brief statements or arguments and asks to evaluate the form or content of the statement or argument. Questions of this type ask the examinee to analyze and evaluate the reasoning in short paragraphs or passages;

Non-verbal reasoning involves the ability to understand and analyse visual information and solve problems using visual reasoning like identifying relationships, similarities and differences between shapes and patterns, recognizing visual sequences and relationships between objects, and remembering these. It enables students to analyse and solve complex problems without relying upon or being limited by language skills. As these tests don't require reading they can give insight into the abilities of those who have problems with reading and thinking verbally, those, whose native language isn't English.

QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE

The Quantitative Aptitude test measures the numerical ability and accuracy in mathematical calculations. The questions range from purely numeric calculations to problems of algebra, arithmetic, graph and table reading, percentage analysis, categorization and quantitative analysis. The task is to solve the problems and choose the correct answer amongst the multiple answers.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The English Test generally consists of three facets of English Language viz. English Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension.

In Grammar, questions are generally asked from Noun, Pronouns, Verbs, Subject Verb Agreement, Tenses, Preposition, Comparison of Adjectives etc. The questions are generally asked by way of Sentence Correction, Sentence Improvement and Fill in the blanks.

The Vocabulary part questions can be asked from finding the Synonyms, Antonyms, One word substitutes, Fill in the blanks, Idioms, Spelling check etc.

In the Comprehension Section, the passage can be about almost anything and the questions about it test how well the examinee understands the passage and the information in it.
